NALIP-Saint Lucia Appoints A New Executive (2018–2020)

On March 16th, 2018, the National Association of Libraries and Information Professionals – (NALIP) – Saint Lucia hosted its 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM), at The UWI Open Campus Saint Lucia Library, Morne Fortune, Castries, Saint Lucia.
During the AGM a new Executive was elected to serve for a two-year period (2018–2020). Membership in the Association is open to all suitably qualified professionals, paraprofessionals, students, institutions and stakeholders in library and information science, Archives and related fields.

The New NALIP Saint Lucia Executive Board is as follows:
· Daisy St Rose – President (Librarian, The UWI Open Campus)
· Mary St. Ange - Vice President (Librarian, Canaries Public Library)
· Judith Justin - Secretary (Library assistant, Central Library)
· Cynthia Mc Farlane - Treasurer (Director of Library Services, Central Library)
· Melisa Cherubin-James - Public Relations Officer (Librarian, National Archives- Saint Lucia)
· Jadrian Alcide – Assistant Secretary (Library Assistant, Central Library)
· Rosamund Stanislas - Trustee (Retired Librarian, Central Library)
· Catherine Prospere – Trustee (Retired Librarian, Soufriere Public Library)
Missing is the Editor who will be appointed by the NALIP Executive Board. The Executive looks forward to serving with excellence the members of the NALIP Saint Lucia and the wider society.
